9anime.co.nz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects
users of our site to do the same. This DMCA and Copyright Policy explains
how rights holders may report infringing content and how 9anime.co.nz
handles such reports.

This policy should be read together with our
Terms of Service
and Disclaimer.

1. How 9anime.co.nz Operates

9anime.co.nz operates as an anime
streaming index and player interface. Video content accessible through the
Site is hosted on third-party external servers; 9anime.co.nz does not store,
host, or upload video files directly to its own servers. The Site indexes
and embeds video streams from third-party hosting providers in a manner
similar to how search engines index and link to web content.

2. Notice and Takedown Procedure (DMCA)

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of a copyright
owner, and you believe that content accessible through 9anime.co.nz
infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to us
containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description
of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple
works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — The specific
URL(s) on 9anime.co.nz where the allegedly infringing content appears,
with enough detail for us to locate the material.
  3. Your contact information — Your full legal name, postal
address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good
faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is
not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — A statement that the information in
your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the
copyright owner or are authorised to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
  6. Signature — A physical or electronic signature of the
    copyright owner or authorised representative.

submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your full name, address, phone number, and email address
  2. Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it previously appeared
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 9anime.co.nz
maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access
of users who are repeat infringers. If a user repeatedly submits or posts
content that infringes third-party copyrights, we reserve the right to
permanently restrict that user’s access to the Site.

6. Misrepresentation

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly
materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that content was
removed by mistake, may be subject to liability. Please ensure your notice
or counter-notice is accurate and made in good faith.
